Dr Bethany Angell is a Clinical Psychologist and a BABCP accredited CBT therapist.
Alongside her work at Oxford Mind & Body, she is a Clinical Psychologist in a specialist NHS service, with ten years’ experience working across both NHS and charity organisations. Beth’s clinical experience includes working with adults and children across range of primary, secondary, and specialist care services.
Beth is passionate about providing person-centred care that is tailored to the individual’s needs. She works with difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), relational difficulties and emotional dysregulation.
Beth works in an integrative way, adapting her approach to suit needs of the individual to develop a shared understanding of their current difficulties. Her training allows her to confidently draw on a range of psychological models to inform her practice, including CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), CFT (Compassion-Focused Therapy), Narrative Therapy and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy).
Beth offers a safe, warm, collaborative environment in which to explore challenges and facilitate growth and change. She is a trauma-informed practitioner who is always neuro-affirming and views clients in the context of their life experiences.
