Bronwen Taylor is an accredited CBT therapist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Therapy from the University of Oxford (2008).
Bron delivers NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) recommended interventions for a range of difficulties including depression, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, PTSD, low self-esteem, long term condition management, body image, emotional dysregulation. She has also specialist expertise in working with eating disorders using a CBT-E model (CBT for eating disorders). Bron has experience of working with adults across a range of NHS settings both in primary and secondary care. Bron’s clinical practice is informed by additional training in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and Compassion focused working.
Moreover, Bron is a qualified state registered nurse. Although she is no longer practicing in this area, Bron gained a wealth of experience in working with people with physical health problems in a range of settings such as surgery, trauma, medical conditions, HIV and sexual health.
Bronwen is particularly keen to work holistically (taking into account mind, body and life circumstances) when working with clients to help understand and formulate their difficulties. She has a flexible and collaborative approach that is guided by her knowledge of the evidence based approaches.
